I've noticed that the 6to4 relay router that gets used when I specify the
anycast address 192.88.99.1 as my 6to4 relay router has changed.
I think this change happened within the last 10 days.

The ping time to 2002:c058:6301:: is now 130ms when previously
it was 35ms (I'm in the UK). The other change is that the ping reply now
comes from 2002:c058:6301:: when it used to come from
6to4-relay.sov.kewlio.net.uk (2001:4bd0:d10:2002::1).

Traceroute using 192.88.99.1 as 6to4 relay router gives
traceroute to www.ipv6experiment.com (2001:4978:1:110:0:ac:ce55:1b1e) from 2002:5245:2db4:1::c0a8:203, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets
1 2002:c058:6301:: (2002:c058:6301::) 130.026 ms 132.395 ms 130.946 ms
2 www.ipv6experiment.com (2001:4978:1:110:0:ac:ce55:1b1e) 132.438 ms 132.317 ms 130.096 ms

i.e. only 2 hops suggesting that the new 6to4 relay router may be run
by the people who run www.ipv6experiment.com.

When I go back to using 6to4-relay.sov.kewlio.net.uk I get
traceroute to www.ipv6experiment.com (2001:4978:1:110:0:ac:ce55:1b1e) from 2002:5245:2db4:1::c0a8:203, 30 hops max, 16 byte packets
1 6to4-relay.sov.kewlio.net.uk (2001:4bd0:d10:2002::1) 48.959 ms 41.519 ms 35.08 ms
2 bbr01-g0-0.lndn01.occaid.net (2001:4830:d1::1) 34.496 ms 34.648 ms 37.803 ms
3 2001:7f8:4::1b1b:1 (2001:7f8:4::1b1b:1) 42.855 ms 52.6 ms 48.805 ms
4 10g-2-3.core1.ny4.ipv6.he.net (2001:470:0:3e::1) 128.779 ms 127.536 ms 127.832 ms
5 10g-1-2.core1.chi1.ipv6.he.net (2001:470:0:4e::1) 130.733 ms 131.626 ms 127.809 ms
6 2001:470:0:7f::2 (2001:470:0:7f::2) 134.846 ms 127.838 ms 129.881 ms
7 www.ipv6experiment.com (2001:4978:1:110:0:ac:ce55:1b1e) 128.84 ms 128.711 ms 128.673 ms

i.e. time to www.ipv6experiment.com is about the same.
However times to other sites (especially UK sites) are much worse.

Does any one know if the ipv6experiment people have started running
a 6to4 relay router ?
